General conditions
GENERAL CONDITIONS 1. The packaging must be empty. By this we mean that a maximum of 0,03% of the total volume per drum / IBC of residue product is allowed. The customer will be charged at a rate of € 0.74/kg for the processing of residue above this amount. 2. At the point of collection assistance for loading the truck is to be provided by the customer. 3. Packaging which is no longer suitable for re-use (possible causes: damaged in-liner, broken or impossible to clean) will be disposed of at the customer's cost. 4. Packaging which is older than 5 years and which has UN approval is automatically considered for disposal. 5. Original labelling may not be removed nor made illegible. 6. No residue products, other than those stated on the labels, are allowed inside the packaging. 7. All packaging must be securely closed: - Closed drums are to be delivered with lids. - Open top drums are to be delivered with closure rings and lids. 8. Packaging which has contained toxic products is only accepted when decontaminated. By this we mean that it has been emptied, dried, rinsed, or chemically neutralised. 9. We can insist that packaging, which has contained excessively irritating or smelling products, or products which can cause problems during the cleaning process, be decontaminated by the customer. 10. Decontaminated packaging must be clearly identified to indicate that it has been neutralised. 11. The sorting of the packaging is carried out on the site of the reconditioner and will be returned within 15 days from the date of collection. This sorting will be the only valid basis for the invoicing. 12. Packaging which does not comply with the above stated conditions, will be disposed of at the customer's cost. 13. The loading and unloading may only take a maximum of 1.5 hours. Any additional time necessary will be charged at € 34.71 / hour.
